In Eye for an eye, the player takes control of a frog trapped in an ancient temple infested with pillagers. The game features stealth-based gameplay, requiring the player to solve puzzles and avoid making noise that can attract the pillager's attention. The player must also collect eyes that belong to statues in order to acquire new powers. Throughout the game, the player learns about the dark history of the temple's existence.
